thankful

Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for my two daughters and my wonderful boyfriend who would do anything for us. <3

when i grow up...

I made this layout using Shimelle's sketch of the week. I'm glad she used the frame paper in a different way. I've had this forever and never used it since I had no clue how to work with the flowers around the edges. For the pink strips I simply used the backside of what I cut. The challenge was to make a Christmas layout, but I didn't have any Christmas paper (or something that could go along with it) that had a frame around it!
When Kaylee grows up she wants to own lambs, live on a farm, marry a farmer, and be a vet. She has talked about this for almost a year now. This is one of the reasons why I love to scrapbook...I forget what I wanted to be at her age, but now I won't forget by the time she is my age and asks me about it.

grateful

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so I thought I would make a layout about being grateful for my two daughters. I love the way this one turned out. I cut out patterned paper for the leaves and used a white gel pen to make the leaf veins.

chevron{2}

After I posted my chevron pages BG posted a challenge to use them. I used the Eva collection. I think I've only used one of the papers in the 6x6 pad since I bought it a few years ago. I really need to stop keeping products on my shelves and just use them. haha

I love it when E sleeps on me, so I had to make a layout about it. :)

chevron.

I love this trend! I plan on using the pattern in different ways on a few more pages.

I also love the little letter stickers from making memories. <3

cuddle time

Every week Shimelle posts a new sketch of the week. I always say I'm going to do them, but never do. This week I finally did the sketch for this week. :)
This picture is from the stay in the hospital after I had my second daughter. I love this picture. The purple and white papers are found on a lot of the layouts I made/am making for her album. I bought them when Kaylee was a baby, but never used them all.
